It's been a long time coming for those of us with a love of the fantastic Back to the Future series but it seems the time is nearly upon us where the Hoverboard will be available. We're even a year ahead of the 2015 timeline depicted in the fantastic Back to the Future 2. Why not check out this awesome video demonstration of the product in action below with guest appearances from the original 'Doc' Brown, Christopher Lloyd, awesome skaterboarding legend Tony Hawk and even Moby.
Whilst there's of course speculation about the legitimacy of the product and if the video is in fact an orchestrated attempt to gain funding for the project, many noting that some of the movements look like the riders have been attached to hoists, It's still very exciting that this could be real. nNo word yet as to when the product will reach the live market and what kinds of safety stipulations there will be with it or indeed pricing though an indication of 'destination time' on the Huvr website suggests December 2014. What do you think of the product? Are you excited at the potential of riding a board Marty McFly style? For me it looks amazing my only concerns would be it's likely excessive costs and if the product truly lives up to expectations that the video projects. Still if this turns out to be fake, let's hope it's all a dramatic ruse as viral marketing for an announcement of Back to the Future part 4! One can dream...
