Marvel Villain Thanos Cast and news on Avengers: Age of Ultron
When discussing the upcoming slate of Marvel movies, studio boss Kevin Feige has highlighted amongst other things that the Villain Thanos has been cast in Marvel's upcoming 'Guardians of the Galazy' movie. Thanos, who has already been seen as the behind the scenes driving force of the attempted invasion on New York in the Avengers, looks set to be the core antagonist of the Marvel Cinematic universe in the Avengers 3.
When speaking to Empire Magazine about the role Feige suggested "There is an actor. I'm not sure we want to announce it yet." he continued to discuss Guardians of the Galaxy noting that "Guardians will feel and seem the most separate, but in a summer where people are going to see a lot of sequels, some of which are ours, we were excited about the idea of bringing something new and totally unexpected to the screen."
Moving on from Guardians of the Galaxy, Feige spoke in a little more depth about 2015's Avengers: The Age of Ultron. Specifically mentioning the Hulkbuster armour that has been teased in a previous announcement "That little tease was very intentional on our part. The specifics around it we don't have to do for a while. It's a piece of armour we've wanted to see on the screen for a long time, let's put it that way. What is the hulkbuster suit built for?"
Sounds like there's certainly a lot to get excited about in Marvel's upcoming series of movies with their Cinematic Universe. Are you looking forward to seeing how Guardians of the Galaxy links into the overall cinematic universe or more intrigued by the tease of an Iron Man Vs Hulk battle coming up in Avengers: Age of Ultron?
