Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Revealed with trailer and plot synopsis
See more from E3: GAMR's E3 Hub
One of the announcements we'd all been hoping for from Sony at this year's E3 was more on their new Uncharted for PS4 first teased last year. The new game called Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was announced accompanied with a new teaser to close off Sony's E3 conference. In the teaser we see returning hero Nathan Drake at a low point, wounded and regaining consciousness on a river bank before proceeding to pull himself up and struggle forward into the jungle ahead of him.
A new synopsis for the game is found attached to the teaser trailer on the official Playstation youtube channel which reads: "Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he's willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves."
It's great to see that Drake will be back as rumours had been that there may be a new protagonist to the series. Though we find it surprising Naughty Dog, developer of the series would wish to pull away from what is now surely a beloved and iconic Playstation character. The teaser has us ready for more, but we'll have to hold out for a while yet as the game won't be heading to our consoles until 2015.
