Gaystation 4 brings in plenty of cash for LGBT charity
A very special limited edition Playstation 4 dubbed the Gaystation 4 has been sold on behalf of the LGBT charity RFSL. A charity who help support the LGBT community and the everyday discrimination that they can face.
The Gaystation itself is an awesome looking take on the PS4 decorated with the colours of the LGBT rainbow pride flag. The Swedish online retailer Webhallen sold the console with proceeds going to the charity for a rather hefty 28,300 Swedish kroner which works out at about £2500. It seems highly unlikely that the Gaystation will be mass produced as a special edition, which given it's unique design and messaging may come as a disappointment.
For the time being if you're keen on getting yourself a more interesting than black Playstation 4 take a look at the white model coming out later this year. It's great to see more and more of the gaming community showing support for the LGBT community and in such a fun way too. Would you have liked the opportunity to buy yourself the Gaystation or are you happy to just stick with plain old black or white?
