Grand Theft Auto V PS4, Xbox One and PC release date officially revealed alongside a host of amazing new features

After plenty of speculation and several potentially leaked release dates, it seems that the leaks weren't too far off predicting the upcoming launch date of GTAV on next generation consoles. But now finally we know exactly when the game will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this coming November 18th, and then on January 27th for PC.

Beyond the announced release dates for the next-generations consoles and PC, Rockstar has revealed that this new version of Grand Theft Auto V will be more than a simple port and will in fact include a whole host of new features and updates. These include things like new weapons, new vehicles and new activities the addition of more wildlife, denser traffic, a completely new foliage system as well as a greatly improved damage system and new weather effects.

Of the enhancements to the game Rockstar announced "A host of new, exclusive content also awaits for players returning from the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable blimp; activities including wildlife photography and new shooting ranges challenges, new weapons and more".

Further to that a very exciting new alteration to GTA: Online was also revealed "Enhancements to Grand Theft Auto: Online include an increased player count, with online play now for up to 30 players on Playstation 4 and Xbox One". Just to top it all off, Rockstar have promised that all gamers who preorder the title will receive a cool million in game dollars, split into $500k for their story mode and $500K to give them a kick start online too.

We were already pretty excited about enjoying GTAV on our next-gen console, but with the announcement of all these new tweaks to the game we can't wait to get our hands on it. The potential chaos of GTA: Online's enhanced player count of 30 up from the PS3/X360s 16 should really refresh the online component of the game and give it a great deal more life. A welcome addition to a brilliant online mode thats punch has fizzled somewhat since it's release. Here's hoping there'll be some brand new DLC content to bring things up another gear in the not too distant future too.

Are you as excited to play GTAV on your next-gen console or PC as we are? Or did you absolutely do everything you possibly could on the PS3/X360 version and don't feel the need to buy it again?
