Skyrim: HD Remaster Is Real! DLC, Release Date and MODS!
We'd firmly popped this in the rumours we really wanted to be true camp when looking at what we expected to be revealed from Bethesda at E3 this year. One of our biggest wishes, and many others too was a fully remastered version of the exceptional Skyrim, filling a much needed gap in the RPG landscape.
It seems then that we all got our wish, with Bethesda unveiling the remastered title set to come to PS4, Xbox One and PC in a matter of mere months with a confirmed launch date of October 28th. The game will officially be titled; Skyrim: Special Edition.
The Skyrim: Special Edition will features a full suite of enhanced graphical elements, include all previously released DLC; Dawnguard, Hearthfire & Dragonborn and most excitingly of all much like Fallout 4 this remastered Skyrim will also feature Mods on consoles too. So prepare yourself to not only sink huge hours into the game and it's DLC but into the likely ridiculous number of Mods that will end up spewing forth as the community for the game gets it's hands on it.
We can't wait for Skyrim: Special Edition! What are your thoughts on the game, would you of preferred more information about a true current-generation Elder Scrolls title or are you happy for Bethesda to take their time and happy to be venturing back to Skyrim later this year? Let us know in the comments.
