Kurt Cobain's note found at death scene regarding Courtney Love unveiled
A lot has been said recently surrounding the death of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain, with the rumoured but apparently false reopening of the case due to new evidence. With Seattle police now releasing small elements of images and other information as they do an internal review of the case in line with the 20th anniversary of the singers apparent suicide. A newly released note suggests some turmoil between Kurt and then Wife Courtney Love, hand scribbled and mocking the traditional marriage values the full note, as discovered in Cobain's wallet at the scene of his suicide can be seen below.
The handwritten note can be a little hard to decipher but reads as follows "Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife even when she's a bitch with zits and siphoning all yr money for doping and whoring..."
In light of the reviewing of the case, it's interesting to see such 'evidence' being released to the public, especially given the inherent cruelness of the note. Whilst there are many who believe Courtney Love may have had an impact on Kurt regarding his death it's also important to note that his suicide note at the scene spoke of her as a "Goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy".
What do you think of the trickle of evidence being revealed about the case? Should it really all be put out in the public domain now the case is over 20 years old or should this remain solely with the police and those closest to Cobain?
