Marvel's Agent Carter could go straight to series!
If rumours are to be believed it's quite possible that the oft discussed Peggy Carter TV show will get a full series order alongside the likely renewal of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The script is rumoured to be excellent and has been written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely who brought us the recent Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Hayley Atwell's contract has been extended by Marvel and it's highly likely that should the series be taken to order she will reprise her role as the title character Peggy Carter.
The show is set to be based around 1946 in the development of the original S.H.I.E.L.D agency, given the current revelations on the Marvel Cinematic Universe as showcased in Captain America: The Winter Soldier it is more than likely that there will be plenty of intrigue and espionage to be explored within the series. Dominic Cooper is also rumoured to reprise his role as a series regular as none other than Iron Man's father Howard Stark.
What do you think to the idea of a brand new series under Marvel's ever growing universe. I was very much a fan of Peggy Carter in the original Captain America movie and given the unique time setting think this could work in a brilliantly complimentary way to Marvel's huge movie franchises.
