The Order: 1886 looks to be one of the most promising and interesting new titles coming to Sony's PS4 with its mix of steampunk, action and sci-if horror fantasy. At their E3 press conference Sony have announced that the game, whose release date was recently pushed back, can be expected on February 20th, 2015.
But that's not all, Sony also unveiled a selection of fantastic collectors editions that you can get when the game comes out. The 'European Edition' comes in special black casing and features a replica pendant of the Blackwater Vial as worn by the Knights of the Order within the game, a woven coat of arms patch, concept art postcards and the games soundtrack as well as behind the scenes videos. In North America there are a couple of options the 'Collectors Edition' comes with a 7 inch figure of Galahad the games protagonist, steelbook packaging, and stickers and the 'Premium Edition' which is packed with a 13 inch 'Endless Duel' statue, Steelbook packaging, art book, replica Blackwater Vial pendant, a collectors box and stickers.
In addition all of the collectors editions come packed with the 'Knights Arsenal' DLC which includes alternate outfits for Galahad, variant weapons that players can use in the campaign including the Arc Rifle & Arsenal Rifle prototype. They also all receive the soundtrack and behind the scenes videos of the making of the game. We're looking forward to The Order: 1886, it looks like it has the potential to give us something excitingly new within the action and horror genres, so bring on that February 20th 2015 release date.
