The Last Of Us PS4 has been in development since mid 2013!
Naughty Dog has today revealed that The Last Of Us PS4 edition has been in development since completion of it's PS3 counterpart. IGN reports on an interview with Naughty Dog's co-president Evan Wells in which he explains that the developer has been keeping the PS4 version of the game quiet over the past year. "We had a lot of people on the forums saying 'Can I play this on Playstation 4?' we had actually been anticipating that, and started working on it pretty much as soon as we finished the Playstation 3 version."
Wells continued to discuss how the team upped their development efforts "We weren't sure if it was going to go anywhere, but when we saw the fans clamouring for it we doubled-down, and put more effort behind it." As many may have wondered there will be some dramatic graphical improvements to the game in it's PS4 iteration, "The graphic fidelity has been turned up to eleven. We've got 1080p, we're pushing the draw distances further, we're creating higher resolution character models, better lighting, better shadows."
It's great to hear all this new information on the upcoming The Last Of Us: Remastered, have you played the game on PS3? Will you get it again on PS4 or be picking it up if you haven't played it yet?
